Racism? Really? Is that the excuse everyone uses for everything now? Perhaps you've heard of Google? Sundar Pichai is an Indian-American. The issue with hiring most foreign-born workers is their inability to communicate with American developers. Even with the most optimum team that is able to communicate fluently, building complex software is a huge challenge. If you now introduce someone into the mix who isn't fluent in either the language or American software constructs, it becomes just that much harder to build reliable software. And there is no shortage of software devs in the US, just a shortage of hiring managers who understand what they're looking for and a host of companies that can't wait to take advantage of the H1b visa network to lower their costs by hiring such workers, which just lowers all of our tech salaries in America and I'm sorry but that shouldn't happen to Americans just because of greedy tech companies or foreign-born desires.
