If you won’t wear a Mask, then you shouldn’t expect Healthcare

In most places in the United States, it is currently within a person’s right not to wear a mask no matter how irresponsible it might be. But for those that want to exercise ‘their rights’ by not doing so, you won’t mind if we deny healthcare resources to you and use them for those of us that are acting responsibly. People are not allowed to smoke in public places because it endangers other’s health, but for some reason, we find it perfectly acceptable to pass on a killer disease because someone doesn’t want their ‘rights’ trampled.

The days of recklessly endangering others through no other justification than your own selfish will, are coming to an end. We are at a healthcare breaking point and our patience for those that will put other’s health at risk is running thin. We must no longer accept the objection that it is an intrusion on rights, but instead we must insist on the protection of those that cannot protect themselves. The minority of people who disregard science and deny the existence of Covid are acting irresponsibly and in this writer’s opinion, both selfishly and criminally.

Our country is at a crossroads that we’ve never seen before in modern times. Our healthcare systems are stretched past their breaking point. If you believe that Covid is a farce, please explain why so many hospitals are so overwhelmed. Nevermind, we have no more time for your conspiracy theories. We must act like adults and put children away for their own safe keeping. We must not allow those that seek to destroy us through misinformation and disinformation to be successful. We must take decisive action against those that threaten us. How? By putting our faith in science and allowing reason and logic to prevail, not conspiracy and misinformation. We must not allow the mentally reduced to have a voice in our overall safety. We must not allow factions that seek to distract us from our own salvation. We must be adults. We must be logical. We must survive.
